High-End Aesthetic Dental Veneers in Madrid
At MAG Dental Madrid we create high-end aesthetic veneers in Madrid with a 100% digital protocol and the latest technology. We design your veneers by studying not just your smile but the harmony of your whole face, to achieve teeth with the natural translucency of enamel: veneers nobody notices, but everyone admires.

What are dental veneers and what are they for?
Dental veneers are very thin shells of porcelain or lithium disilicate bonded to the visible surface of the tooth to improve its colour, shape, size and proportion. They can transform a smile without orthodontics or lengthy treatment.
- What veneers are used for:
- Stained or yellowish teeth that do not improve with whitening.
- Worn, small or slightly chipped teeth.
- Gaps between teeth (diastemas).
- Slightly misaligned teeth.
- Asymmetric smiles or teeth of different sizes.
Are veneers a good idea?
Yes, when the goal is aesthetic and your teeth and gums are healthy. They are a good choice if you want:
- A whiter, brighter smile that lasts
- To correct shape, size or small imperfections
- A younger-looking smile
- More confidence when you smile
They are one of the most conservative ways to change a smile, especially no-prep micro-veneers, which do not require filing down the tooth. Before placing them we need to treat any decay, gum disease or significant crowding, and if you clench or grind your teeth (bruxism) we will recommend a night guard.
That is why, before recommending veneers, our registered dentists carry out a complete aesthetic assessment, looking at:
- Bite
- Gums
- Facial proportions
- Smile line
- Age and expression
Types of dental veneers
There are four main types of dental veneers: porcelain, lithium disilicate, composite and no-prep. At MAG Dental Madrid we work with porcelain and lithium disilicate (E.max), preferably no-prep when the position of the tooth allows, so treatment is minimally invasive.
1. Porcelain veneers
Thin ceramic shells custom-made in the laboratory and bonded to the visible surface of the tooth. They reflect light like natural enamel, do not stain and are the most durable option. They are the benchmark material for high-end aesthetics. Approximate lifespan: more than 10–15 years.
2. Lithium disilicate veneers (E.max)
A reinforced glass ceramic, very strong and with a translucency very close to enamel; E.max is its best-known brand. A highly aesthetic option that we also place without filing the tooth when possible. We recommend it when the case needs a little more strength or a bigger colour change, for example on very dark teeth. Price: €725 per tooth. Approximate lifespan: more than 10–15 years.
3. Composite veneers
Made of resin and applied directly in the clinic. They are cheaper, but over time they darken, lose their shine and last about 5 years. At MAG Dental Madrid we do not offer composite veneers because we prioritise quality, natural looks and durability: we work with porcelain and lithium disilicate (E.max) veneers, preferably no-prep when the position of the tooth allows.

Example of composite veneers: an unnatural result. We do not offer this type of veneer at MAG Dental Madrid.
4. No-prep veneers
They can be made of porcelain or lithium disilicate (E.max). Whenever the position of your teeth allows, we make no-prep veneers. They are placed without filing the tooth, so treatment is minimally invasive and, in many cases, reversible. They usually do not require anaesthetic.
Suitable for: small or worn teeth, gaps (diastemas), stains that do not go away with whitening and small irregularities in shape.
We will consider another option if there are: very protruding or crowded teeth, or a bite that needs correcting first.

“Well-made veneers should go unnoticed beyond a perfect smile: so natural they are invisible to the human eye.”
— Dr. Alejandro Prieto, surgeon
Benefits of dental veneers
- They visibly improve the colour, shape and size of your teeth.
- No-prep: your natural tooth is preserved.
- Porcelain does not stain or lose its shine.
- They correct several problems in one treatment: stains, wear, gaps and slight misalignment.
- 100% digital protocol: free digital smile design based on the harmony of your whole face.
- Mock-up before placement: you see and approve your new smile before the final treatment.
- Natural translucency: porcelain mimics the light and translucency of enamel.
What are the disadvantages of dental veneers?
- Initial investment: higher than other cosmetic treatments, although offset by how long they last.
- Fixed colour: porcelain cannot be whitened, so we choose the shade with you during the design phase.
- Care with knocks and bruxism: like any restoration, a veneer can come off or break; if it does, it is re-bonded or replaced. If you clench your teeth, we will protect them with a night guard.
- Not every case is suitable: significant crowding or gum problems must be treated first.

How long do veneers last?
Porcelain veneers are the most durable type of veneer. With good hygiene and check-ups they usually last more than 10 to 15 years, and long-term clinical studies show survival rates above 90% at 10 years.
To make them last longer:
- Brush and use floss or interdental brushes every day.
- Have regular check-ups and cleanings.
- Do not bite hard objects (pens, nails, ice) or open packaging with your teeth.
- Wear a night guard if you clench or grind.
Crowns vs veneers
Veneers cover only the front of the tooth and are purely aesthetic; they are minimally invasive. Crowns cover the whole tooth and are used when it is badly damaged, fractured or root-canal treated.
Veneers, whitening or orthodontics?
If the only issue is colour and your teeth are healthy, whitening is sometimes enough. If your teeth are very misaligned, orthodontics is the right choice. Veneers are the best option when colour, shape and size all need changing at once, and they are often combined with these treatments.
How dental veneers are placed
We work with a 100% digital protocol from start to finish, using the latest technology.
1. Free digital smile design
Professional photographs, 3D intraoral scan, facial analysis and Digital Smile Design (DSD). We do not design just the teeth: we study the harmony of your face (lips, facial proportions, smile line and expression) so the result suits you. You see your future smile before we start.
2. Mock-up: try your smile before the veneers are placed
We transfer the digital design to your mouth with a provisional simulation. You see how it looks, we adjust it with you, and we do not place the final veneers until we are sure you love it.
3. Laboratory fabrication
Our exclusive laboratory makes each veneer from the approved design, paying close attention to colour, shape and the natural translucency of enamel.
4. Bonding the veneers
High-precision adhesive bonding, without filing whenever the position of the teeth allows, with careful control of colour and shape.

Dental veneers: frequently asked questions
Where can I get dental veneers in Madrid?
MAG Dental Madrid has two clinics: in Hortaleza (Carretera de Canillas, 136) and in the Salamanca district (Calle de María de Molina, 52). Both follow the same 100% digital protocol, with registered dentists, an English-speaking team and our exclusive dental laboratory, from the digital smile design to bonding the veneers.
Is the digital smile design free?
Yes. Your first visit and digital smile design are free: we take photographs and a 3D intraoral scan, design your new smile around the harmony of your face and give you a fixed quote for your case.
How much do dental veneers cost?
At MAG Dental Madrid a high-end aesthetic porcelain or lithium disilicate (E.max) veneer, with digital smile design and no-prep, costs €725 per tooth, and a full arch from €4,350. This includes the digital smile design, the mock-up, fabrication in our exclusive laboratory and bonding. You can finance it over up to 60 months, and at your free first visit we give you a fixed quote.
How many appointments do veneers take at MAG Dental Madrid?
Usually three: the digital smile design, the mock-up try-in so you can see and approve the design in your mouth, and bonding the veneers. Between the try-in and bonding, our exclusive laboratory makes each veneer to measure. If you are travelling from abroad, tell us and we will help you plan the visits.
Do my teeth need to be filed down for veneers?
Not always. Whenever the position of the teeth allows, we make no-prep veneers: porcelain micro-veneers bonded onto the enamel without filing it, a minimally invasive treatment. Only in some specific cases, such as very protruding teeth or teeth with previous restorations, may minimal preparation be needed, and we always explain this to you beforehand.
What happens if a veneer breaks or comes off?
It is uncommon, but if it happens, keep the veneer and book an appointment. If it is intact, it can often be re-bonded in a single visit; if it has broken, our laboratory makes a new one for that tooth.
How many veneers do I need?
It depends on your smile line. The minimum is usually 6 veneers per arch, from canine to canine; the standard is 8 and, in wide smiles, up to 10. We decide with you during the digital smile design, taking the harmony of your face into account.
Can dental veneers be financed?
Yes. We offer financing of up to 60 months and handle the paperwork for you. At your free first visit we give you a fixed quote and explain the payment options.
