For MAG Dental, social responsibility is a way of understanding the role of our clinic in society. At MAG Dental we are committed to our employees and society, integrating ethics into all our decisions and actions.
Additionally, we maintain collaboration programs with various entities: Association of Latex Allergy, Dentists Without Borders and Patients with disabilities and special needs.
Within the framework of this social responsibility, MAG Dental wants to bring its health and dental aesthetic services closer to all families, offering payment facilities, aid and collaboration programs.
LATEX ALLERGIC ASSOCIATION
More and more patients are allergic to latex. We know that more or less continuous contact with latex can cause future allergies to develop in people who do not currently have them, which is why it is a preventive measure for our patients.
In general, it is still not taken into account in dental clinics in Spain, while in other countries it is practically disappearing from dental offices and hospitals.
Our orientation to quality of service and excellence in patient care has led us to be among the pioneers in completely eliminating latex from our consultation in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Latex Allergy.
We maintain a relationship with this entity, which pursues the same goals as MAG Dental, that is, that our quality of life is not deteriorated by suffering from a latex allergy.
GROUPS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
At MAG Dental we detect a need in patients with special needs. Most of them have motor problems that do not allow them to have proper oral hygiene and many of them do not allow help with cleaning.
This leads to dental problems that worsen over time and with the consequent deterioration of the mouth.
Inspired by these patients, the Surgical Center was born, with the intention of being able to treat this group through conscious sedation and perform the interventions in one go to avoid the inconveniences that travel generates for these patients.
Our team is committed to offering the best service to patients with special needs.
DENTISTS WITHOUT BORDERS
Dentists Without Borders is a Non-Governmental Organization for Development that provides help to populations in precarious situations, without discrimination of race, sex, religion, philosophy or politics.
Its first projects were developed in Guatemala, Nicaragua and Spain (Carabanchel), later expanding its aid to countries such as Honduras and India, and in recent years the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Senegal. It was founded by Dr. Bascones and Dr. Manso in 1993, registered in the National Registry of Associations since 1999 and declared of Public Utility on June 9, 1999.
DSF's goal is the development of oral health in third world and economically depressed areas of the developed world through care and prevention.
