INITIAL SITUATION

Patient who comes to our dental clinic in Madrid, where he reports pain in the upper lateral incisor, as a consequence of a unilateral crossbite of the upper lateral with the lower canine, which, having more chewing force, injures the upper tooth and can lead to a pulp necrosis.

PROCESS

The best way to resolve the case is through orthodontics, which can be through braces or invisible retainers.
In this case, the patient opted for orthodontics with braces. Within 18 months, the malocclusion was corrected.
