SINUS LIFT

Treatments / Oral Surgery / Sinus Lift

Maxillofacial Surgery

Maxillary sinus elevation is a surgical technique that allows the increase of bone in the upper arch with the aim of obtaining an adequate bone base in which to place ostointegrated implants in those cases in which the consistency of the bone does not allow it. It is essential to have a good clinical history of the patient and perform a thorough orofacial and radiological examination before starting this technique prior to implant placement.

In an initial phase, the space must be tilled by raising the sinus floor and then placing autologous or non-autologous material in it. In the second phase, the implant(s) will be placed, following the usual pattern.

Treatments / Oral Surgery / Tooth extraction included

Maxillofacial Surgery

Impacted teeth are teeth that have not erupted during their normal eruption period and remain within the bone, partially or completely.

Any tooth can undergo this inclusion process, but it usually affects the upper and lower wisdom teeth (wisdom teeth) and the upper canines (fangs). This is because these teeth are the last to erupt and, therefore, have more space problems.

In these cases we must rule out any type of pathology and perform a panoramic x-ray (orthopantomography) to be able to determine the cause of this delay in eruption.

Avoid infections and oral problems

TOOTH EXTRACTION INCLUDED

WISDOM TEETH EXTRACTION

Treatments / Oral Surgery / Wisdom teeth extraction

Maxillofacial Surgery

Wisdom teeth removal involves removing the molars at the back of the mouth, called wisdom teeth, that are causing problems.

Wisdom teeth usually emerge through the gums between the ages of 17 and 24. They are the last of the large molars at the back of your mouth. Some people never develop wisdom teeth but can have up to four: one in each corner of their mouth.

For most people, wisdom teeth do not cause any problems so they do not need to be removed. However, if there is not enough room for them to grow in the back of the mouth, they become what are known as impacted or impacted wisdom teeth and can cause pain, swelling and/or infection.

Surgically removing (removing) impacted wisdom teeth can relieve symptoms.

Treatments / Oral Surgery / Guided bone regeneration

Maxillofacial Surgery

Guided bone regeneration is a modern concept that involves the use of different materials and methods that aim to create healthy and sufficient bone in the alveolar processes of the jaws to cover periodontal bone defects or to have adequate alveolar processes in which to place dental prostheses. conventional way with osseointegrated dental implants. The latter are a great advance in current Dentistry but require a sufficient amount of good quality alveolar bone to cover and support them for their placement.
